For our client, an independent, non-governmental, non-profit cancer research Organisation, we're actively looking for a Service Desk Engineer.

Job description

The Service Desk Engineer ensures end-users can make the best use of their equipment and applications. He/she participates in the setup and configuration of network and cloud infrastructure.

He/she provides support in case of user requests or operational incidents with IT systems.

He/she oversees the setup and maintenance of computers systems (software and hardware).

He/she will work under the supervision of Head of IT.

He/she will be the backup of the Facility Manager.


  • Bachelor in informatics or same level acquired through experience.
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft technologies: Windows operating systems, Office, Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, Exchange...
  • Good understanding of PC networks.
  • Knowledge of Windows server management.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware parts.
  • Experience with IT help desk management systems is an asset.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure environment is an asset.
  • Passionate in information technology and eager to learn.
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Good written & spoken English (Dutch & French are assets).


  • Permanent contract full-time
