Great New opportunity for a Business Unit Head / Franchise Lead to start-up a new Business unit Biologicals / Biosimilars.


Ability and capability to start and build this new business segment is crucial and Marketing & Sales experience in the field of biologicals is required.

Our partner is a multinational pharmaceutical company with a mid-sized organisation in Belgium, situated in the Brussels region.


It focusses on innovative drugs in different therapeutic areas and is now about to launch a business unit in the field of Biologicals.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Develop set up of new Business Unit and strategy in line with company objectives
  • Build and maintain relationships with key players in the relevant therapeutic domains
  • Detailed budget planning and management
  • Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to build on start and expansion of the product line
  • Hire, supervise and coach related sales force (KAMs)
  • Prepare yearly marketing and sales plan
  • Development of disease awareness projects, marketing presentations, and public approach within legal restrictions
  • Be representative contact for the TA at required international HQ events and trainings
  • Fully manage the attributed promo budget
  • Monthly reporting on all aspects of the business ( budget, sales, strategy, ..) to Managing director
  • Able to work flexible and adapt needs along the way
  • Manage P&L for the department

QUALIFICATIONS


Knowledge/ Experiences:


  • Min. 5 years’ experience in equivalent role (Business Unit / Franchise Lead / Sales & Marketing)
  • Strong track record experience in biologicals / biosimilars market ensuring market knowledge and strategic vision
  • Experience in product launch and product management is a must
  • Thorough knowledge of hospital market
  • Trilingual Dutch/ French/ English
  • Knowledge of NL market is added value
  • Reside in Belgium

Education:


  • Paramedical, marketing, economic background

  • Hands on mentality , traveling in first phase required
  • Experience in biologicals / biosimilars market is a must
