Job description
The clinical scientist will support the scientific and strategic discussions of the radio-oncology scientific committee (ROSC Radiation Oncology) and the Brain tumor group (Brain).
New project development
- Provide strategic and operational support to the disease-oriented groups in their project development
- Provide scientific input
- Coordinate the involvement of external committees, groups experts and headquarters (HQ) based teams to guarantee superior quality of projects
- Initiate and develop relationships with industrial or academic partners both for collaboration on individual studies and to support longer-term partnership opportunities
Strategic endorsement of new projects : Coordinate the strategic review of new study concepts
Study conduct : Perform medical monitoring activities for clinical studies, with the support of a Research Physician and in close and dynamic collaboration with a multidisciplinary team (project, operations, regulatory, pharmacovigilance and data management, monitoring)
Interaction with the internal network
- Support Disease-Oriented-Groups in their project portfolio management and guide them through internal processes
- Establish and maintain high quality relationships with internal group members and experts, by attending Group Meetings and Scientific Events
Department activities
- Drive and be accountable for processes related to medical management of studies
- Participate in the discussion, review and updates on processes related to study conduct
