Hands-on Biotech Specialists – Production & Quality Control (M/F/X)

Hands-on Biotech Specialists – Production & Quality Control (M/F/X)

Are you ready to join a fast-growing European Biotech company reshaping the medical devices industry?

Are you an experienced industry professional who thrives in the lab rather than behind a desk?

Following a major acquisition in the US and the ramp-up of our manufacturing activities at Liège, we are looking for two purely operational and hands-on experts to join our team: a Production Operations Specialist and a QC Production Specialist.

We are looking for field experience, technical mastery, and execution, not academic research (No PhD required).

Your Daily Challenges (100% Operational)

Depending on your core expertise, you will be directly embedded in our daily manufacturing operations:

  • Production Track: You will lead and execute the concrete manufacturing of diagnostic kits (bulk formulation, reagent aliquoting, filling, and lyophilization). You will actively support the transfer of products from R&D into robust, large-scale production and help manage weekly production schedules.
  • Quality Control Track: You will handle the analytical testing for raw materials, in-process controls (IPC), and final batch releases (primarily ELISA, qPCR, and Mass Spectrometry) to support the daily production flow.
  • Shop-Floor Quality: For both roles, you will handle real-time manufacturing quality documentation: identifying root causes on the floor, managing Deviations, CAPAs, and Change Controls under ISO 13485 / IVDR standards.
  • Floor Mentorship: You will train, guide, and mentor junior production technicians in their daily laboratory tasks.

The Profile We Are Looking For

We value years on the shop floor and manual dexterity over long diplomas.

  • Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of solid, hands-on experience in a production facility or QC laboratory within the Biotech, Medtech, or Pharma sector.
  • Technical Background: Master or Bachelor degree in a relevant scientific field, but most importantly: a proven track record in reagent preparation, solution compounding, or routine analytical testing.
  • Environment: Experience working in regulated manufacturing environments. Comfort or previous experience working in a cleanroom (ZAC) is a major asset.
  • Soft Skills: You love structured, rigorous work, possess strong manual skills, and are adaptable to a fast-growing, agile scale-up environment.
  • Languages: Professional English (B2 minimum) for daily operational communication.

Why Join Us?

  • Comprehensive Package: Competitive salary + Meal Vouchers.
  • Flexible Cafeteria Plan: Tailor your benefits to your lifestyle (convert bonuses into extra vacation days, IT equipment, family insurance, pension savings).
  • Work-Life Balance: Permanent contract (38h/week) with flexible working hours.
  • Great Workspace: A dynamic, non-hierarchical team in a modern facility overlooking the woods with great team events.
